Families for Academic Excellence (FAE) is a non - profit organization run by elected board members who are volunteers and parents of Aspire:University Charter School (UCS) students.
Our mission is to promote the educational programs offered at Aspire:University Charter School and raise funds via donations from business groups, corporations, foundations, and individuals at large. We make gifts and grants to the school, individual departments, teachers, students, and student groups to further the purposes of UCS.
Some of the programs we support include: field trip opportunities, classroom supplies, bottled water supply, reading programs, enhancement of the music and PE programs, playground and school grounds improvements, equipment, drug awareness programs, and many other community involvement programs.
FAE is commited to enabling, maintaining, and expanding Aspire:University Charter School's achievements.
Aspire:University Charter School is a public charter school founded in the Fall of 1999. The school focuses in academic excellence with the underlying belief that knowledge is a key element for personal realization and social success.
UCS has been recognized as a California Distinguished School. Its students continually achieve higher than average test scores evidencing that UCS continually strives for academic excellence. These accomplishments are the product of the collective work of parents, students, the school's staff, and the community. We strongly believe that UCS is an asset to our community as it provides our children with a strong foundation for future social success.
Simply because they believe in the potential of our children and our community.
